Combine block 1 to make marinade

Cut tempeh in half thickness then into thin triangles. Arrange triangles extra neatly into a rectangular pan and pour marinade over tempeh. Allow to sit refrigerated 30 minutes to overnight.

Arrange tempeh in a single layer on a parchment lined pan. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes

Turn pieces and brush newly revealed side with additional marinade. Bake 8 minutes.

Brush tempeh with barbecue sauce. Bake 4 more minutes
