mix flax & water. set aside

cream butter and brown sugar together with hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth, 3-5 minutes

add vanilla and spices, combine with spatula

whisk together the dry ingredients to combine then pour dry into wet. Hand mix just until the flour is incorporated.

Refrigerate the dough at least one hour or overnight.

Roll into 35 gram balls then roll into cinnamon sugar. Bake on parchment at 350F 9 minutes. Remove from oven then drop the pan on the counter to de-puff. Let cool 5 minutes on the pan
