whisk together dry ingredients in block one. use a pastry cutter or fork to work the coconut oil into the dry ingredients and make a crumb texture. don't use your hands; their heat will melt the coconut oil

add the milk & vanilla, stir until just combined. fold in the berries.

lightly flour the counter and turn the dough out. knead lightly a couple of times just enough to make it into a disc. flatten/pat it into a 1" thick round; it's about the same diameter as a small (4 liter) cambro lid.

Set the oven to 400 and place parchment on baking sheet. Cut the disc into 8 slices. Arrange on sheet and bake 20 minutes until lightly golden
