Soak the soy curls in warm water 10 minutes until softened. Drain and squeeze

Combine tamari through corn starch in a bowl and whisk. Pour off approximately half of the sauce and reserve for later. Add soycurls to half the sauce and mix to combine.

Cover a baking sheet with foil and oil generously with sesame oil. Add the soy curls to the sheet and bake 10 minutes in a 400° oven. Toss and bake for 10 minutes more, until blackened in spots.

Remove from baking sheets and toss with reserved sauce.

Arrange sliced onions on a greased parchment lined pan and roast until golden in a 400 oven 8-10 minutes. Combine with cooked prepared soy curls.
